Our Mission:

The Denver Area Music Teachers Association (DAMTA) is a local chapter of the Colorado State Music Teachers Association, affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association.
The next DAMTA event is November 9:
Membership Meeting and Fall Course Presentation: Musical National
Join us for our November membership meeting followed by the fourth part of our Fall Course presented by Alejandro Cremaschi.
This presentation explores nationalistic pieces by composers from Spain and Latin America, with an emphasis on teaching and performing late intermediate and early advanced repertoire. Composers include Albeniz, Turina, Granados, Mompou, Nazareth, Lecuona, Ginastera, Lorenzo Fernandez and Piazzola. Different approaches will be discussed, and there will be a performance of selected pieces.
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Location: 1320 S. Broadway, Denver

We are gearing up for a new year of innovative pedagogical presentations! If you are a DAMTA member sign up for our Fall Course by clicking here.
